Said they were done collecting videos and would shut down youtube now to choose the best video of all time 😀
They even had a 12h livestream where 2 people “announced” nominees.
Basically they were reading out the video title, who uploaded it and most of the time even description..

Pretended that it was just a video-submission contest. They were supposedly “closing it down for 10 years” because that’s how long it would take for them to go through all the videos and choose the best one 😛

And here I was coming here to see what was being done this April Fools.
I suppose you could argue that the lack of an april fools prank was in fact an april fools prank in itself.
