I know that there are a lot of farming / plant mods out there, plus TBH I’m not sure if I’m interested in the farming side of things (not having seen it and all 😉 ) That isn’t to say I won’t look at it when it comes out and if it’s interesting I’d definitely install it. I just like having the option to cut bits out of mods, like buildcraft or Redpower, to save block IDs. Mechanical & Farming / Crops seems like a good split point.

But realistically what will/could the CPU’s be able to do? im having guesses of automate certain processes, like allow current to flow every x seconds for x seconds or something like that, well ticks not seconds

All that would happen is people would put a lava source up next to their reactors, and throw the waste into it as soon as it formed, possibly even creating automated systems for that.
