Congratulations!
The machines sounds like a song when i put them close together ^^
but i would swap the recycler/macerator sounds 😉
Very excited! Glad to see the new future of IndustrialCraft unfold!
When I stumble into good mods, I usually suggest the modder to consider joining the mcForge. The unlimited sprite ID is surely tasty.
is there any changelog? i love changelogs!
good job alblaka!
YAAAAAY!!!!! FINALLY!!!!!! :’D
you should look into getting a counter to show how many spam comments were deleted per post… i want to see just how many people asked about MP
How is the oil that you are planing to add to IC2 going to interact with the mod “BuildCraft” considering it is used highly along side your mod. will there be a protocol for the people who who have both your mod and B.C. or will there be two types of oil.
Thanks for all your work on your mod Alblakas.
May you have a good day.

IC² won’t have it’s own oil, but solely rely on BC’s one.
Ok that is good i thought you were you awile there
So I suggest there will be an option in the config file which allows BC’s oil to interact with IC machines?
Thank you, your mod is awesome, I can’t imagine playing minecraft w/o it 🙂
Now the multiplayer support pls pls pls ^.^
I strongly suggest that you edit your original Industrial Craft1 post to link into the IC2 one since most of the traffic comes from there, otherwise you have a hard time to surpass its ranking even in Google. (Which is the way that i go into it normally, i just search for the term “industrialcraft” and pam, there comes the 8.55 Thread)
Awesome sauce, you are the one true Tech-Dragon Lord.
IC2 forever, or at least till IC3 comes out. 🙂
Hurray! Just in time for the game code to be changed dramatically! =D
doing that would mean he would have to do it AGAIN for the official version as there WILL be bug fixes, thus changes between the pre-release and the full release, just like how a mod breaks between say… 1.7 and 1.7.3.
Really? Huh. Well I thought he could get a head-start… Hm. That sucks. D: It shouldn’t break MUCH should it? I can’t imagine notch changes THAT much during bug fixes. o.o
Uhm, Al has to wait for Modloader, ModloaderMP and MCForge before he can update his mod. And since the current release of 1.8 is a PRE-release, which is HIGHLY bugged, I guess it’ll take some time till IC² gets ported to 1.8
if there is something wrong with one little thing, he has to change an entire class, which means any mod that used that class is now broken.
Well, that’s what Modloader/-MP/MCForge are for. They don’t modificate basefiles, which gives alot more compatibility.
Porting to a new version isnt the main problem. The main problem is to get Modloader/-MP/MCForge ported to 1.8, as they’re the base of all mods.
And with 1.8 being the biggest update evur, it’ll most probably take ages until Mods are playable, lol.
